Lisa’s body of composition, sound design, and installation work includes a multi-channel sound and light installation incorporating river + light data mounted in an old mill ruin, a series of 32-channel electroacoustic “scans” inspired by her experiences with MRI machines and a head injury, a moving song cycle based on myths derived from Ovid’s Metamorphoses that incorporates live granular synthesis and an XBox Kinect, a site-specific multi-channel piece made exclusively out of the recordings of grain and presented in a silo, soundscapes and sound design for audio driving tour of Mississauga, and an arduino-modified rotary phone to “call the moon”.

Works have been presented at the Sonic Arts Research Centre (Belfast), Ontario Place (as part of the in / Future Festival), the Music Gallery, PS2 Gallery (Belfast), Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal, the Canadian Music Centre, the Guelph Jazz Festival, NAISA, the Parkdale Film and Video Showcase, the AGYU, The Dark Outside (Scotland), and the Art Gallery of Mississauga.

Her work often marries acoustic or vintage analog instruments with digital technologies, and incorporates graphic or alternate scoring techniques.
